From the North: 

Head south on the A167 Newcastle Central Motorway, take the exit for the City Centre and take the first exit towards the Quayside onto the A186 (Melbourne Street). Take the first available RIGHT turn onto the A186 (one way street) and turn left at the T-junction continue until you reach Traffic Lights and keep going straight on into The Milk Market. At the next Traffic Lights bear RIGHT onto the B1600 Quayside. You will pass the Law Courts and  pass under the Tyne Bridge, follow the road on and bear round to the LEFT towards the Swing Bridge. Keep RIGHT and continue along the road around what looks like a roundabout keeping to the RIGHT under the bridge. You are now on The Close you will pass The Quayside pub on you left continuing you will pass the  Copthorne. We are 100 yards past the Copthorne on the right next to NUO dentistry.

From the South: 

Head along the A1 and take the Whickham and Lobley Hill Bank turnoff (signposted the A184) the road will bend round to the RIGHT and you will be on the A184 heading towards Newcastle. Continue along the A184 and keep RIGHT to take the Redheugh Bridge. Once across the Redheugh Bridge (A189) keep in the LEFT lane and take the first slip road before the Traffic Lights signposted Scotswood Road (A695). Continue along the A695 until the first roundabout and turn LEFT on the first exit. Bear LEFT at the first junction onto Railway Street, you will pass Lookers Skoda Garage. Keep going along Railway Street under the bridge. Continue along Railway Street past The Centre for Life, continue under the railway bridge and bear RIGHT onto the B1600 Forth Banks. Continue on this road and you will pass Newcastle City Police Station and Hertz rental cars, the road will bend round to the right. We are approx 100 yards past the bend in the road on your LEFT. Continue along the road another 50 yards to see the entrance to the Copthorne Hotel Car park up a ramp on your RIGHT.
